ABOUT
MY NAME IS ASHLEY SCHUMAN. I AM A BOARD CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER AND THE FOUNDER OF BEACH MEDICAL AESTHETICS.
After practicing medicine for over 10 years, I knew it was time for me to follow my passion and focus my career on aesthetic medicine. I have always found great joy in helping others love the skin they are in and saw a need for an aesthetics practice to serve the patients of northern Wilmington and the Hampstead area. I founded Beach Medical Aesthetics in 2021 and have put my heart and soul into building this practice and carefully crafted a team that embody the same values and superior skills as injectors. At Beach Medical Aesthetics we strive to create an atmosphere of kindness and professionalism so that each patient is relaxed, while also providing valuable education and personal attention to your desired goals so that you feel confident in the abilities of your injector. Our goal is to deliver excellent results to empower your confidence so that you can feel better, look better, and live better.​

Ashley is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Beach Medical Aesthetics. She has been practicing aesthetic medicine since 2019. Ashley has also practiced in Neurology in which she manages Chronic Migraines and TMJ through the use of Botox injections. She served as an Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for many years. As an RN she worked in ICU, Cardiology and Orthopedics. Ashley's creativity, love for design, fashion, cosmetics, skincare and conducting medical procedures is what led her to her passion of Aesthetics. It gives her joy and happiness to not only enhance beauty from the outside, but to also enhance confidence within. Her knowledge, skills and many years of experience in medicine gives her the ability to provide high quality aesthetic outcomes while educating and maintaining utmost safety at all times.
Ashley lives in Wilmington with her husband Zach and beautiful twins Avery Blair & Everette. She loves tennis, dancing, golf, and going to the beach - but most of all she loves her family, friends and patients!
